Describe the incoming wastewater
State whether the liquid is municipal sewage, industrial wastewater, stormwater or process drainage. Provide temperature, pH, solids size and concentration, fibre content, grease, abrasiveness and any chemical constituents that may affect materials or blockage risk.
Define the complete system head
Provide design, average and peak flow together with static lift, pipe sizes, route, fittings and discharge conditions. A single head figure without the system basis can hide friction changes and parallel-pump interactions. Include the wet-well operating levels and the minimum submergence.
Confirm installation and controls
Identify wet or dry installation, guide-rail arrangement, access, lifting equipment, power supply, start method, level control, alarms and duty/standby philosophy. Hazardous-area or explosion-protection requirements must be stated explicitly and verified for the proposed motor and complete installation.
Plan service access before ordering
