Include the real service conditions
Fluid composition, concentration and temperature are part of the material review. Cleaning chemicals, solids and changing operating conditions can also matter. Send these details with the full model and item number. Avoid assuming that a material suitable for one process will automatically suit another process using a similar fluid name.
Use references for the correct application
Manufacturer material guides and the applicable product documentation are useful starting points. The review still needs to match the actual service conditions and the complete configuration. If a project needs certificates or specific material documentation, state that requirement before the quotation is finalized. Do not rely on the appearance of a product photo to identify a material grade.
Keep the decision in writing
Ask for the proposed materials and any open questions to be identified in the quotation. This makes it easier to compare options and to order compatible service parts later.
