Describe the fluid
Start with the fluid name and composition, concentration, operating temperature and viscosity. If it contains solids, describe their size and character. Include cleaning fluids and unusual conditions where relevant. A familiar process name alone may not explain everything that will contact the pump. Where values vary, provide the expected operating range rather than a single convenient figure.
State the operating requirement
Include required flow, discharge pressure and suction conditions. Note the available air supply, line arrangement and whether the pump draws from a tank, drum or another process. Keep required operating values distinct from maximum figures taken from an existing catalog. This helps the selection discussion focus on the duty you need to achieve.
Explain the installation
Tell DFIN the connection standard, available space and any documentation or project requirements. If this is a replacement, provide the existing nameplate and a brief description of why the pump is being replaced. If the current unit has a recurring problem, explain when it occurs rather than assuming that the same configuration is the right replacement.
Finish with purchasing details
Add quantity, delivery destination, desired timing and whether you also need repair kits or spare components. You can prepare these details in the DFIN RFQ form and then send the request by email or WhatsApp. The final quotation should clearly identify the proposed configuration, supply scope and any details still needing confirmation.
Prepared by the DFIN editorial team as practical identification, selection and maintenance guidance. Confirm the exact product configuration and service procedure before ordering or maintenance.
