Record the starting point
Begin with the installed pump’s nameplate, full model and serial or item number. Add the duty point, liquid, operating temperature and connection details. Record why a replacement is needed and any changes to the process. This is a planning guide, not a report of a completed customer installation.
Define the interfaces
Describe the available space, pipe connections, supports, drive or air supply and control arrangement. Include existing drawings where available. A replacement decision should address the installation as well as the pump identification. List uncertain dimensions and operating data so they can be resolved during the review.
Agree on the scope
Separate equipment supply, installation, commissioning, documentation and spare parts in the project request. Tell DFIN which activities you want included and which will be handled by your own team. Add the destination, quantity and preferred schedule without assuming an unconfirmed delivery commitment.
Keep a review record
Before proceeding, compare the proposed configuration and supply scope with the project brief. Record open questions, documentation requirements and agreed responsibilities. The confirmed information then supports purchasing, installation planning and later service enquiries.
Prepared by the DFIN editorial team as practical identification, selection and maintenance guidance. Confirm the exact product configuration and service procedure before ordering or maintenance.
